Whistle-Blower Reinstated – Reg Horne’s Statement

In our previous post we shared the story of how a whistle blower known as “Mrs M” working at the Department Of Justice was victimised for speaking out against those who were involved in maladministration. In a statement from our Managing Director, Reg Horne (full report on Iol.co.za) agreed that “Many countries, including our own, are realising that having a whistleblowing system in place is vital,” he said. “It is important for people to know their rights and for education programmes around whistleblowing to be implemented in the private and public sector.”
